Bridgette Mayer Art Advisors curates Drexel University Painting: Teachers and Students for the Aramark Partners Gallery.

Philadelphia, PA – August 3, 2019. Bridgette Mayer Art Advisors is pleased to curate Drexel University’s faculty and student exhibition: “Drexel University Painting: Teacher and Students” for the Aramark Corporation at their headquarters at 2400 Market Street.

The Aramark Partner’s Gallery will showcase artwork by Bruce Pollock, Associate Professor at Drexel University, who heads the painting area in the Department of Art & Art History at the Westphal College of Media Arts & Design. Pollock’s work focuses on geometric abstract images and the use of color to highlight the natural patterns in nature. His work is inspired by starry night skies, waves on the surface of a beach, as well as the landscapes of forests. His work has been exhibited in numerous museums, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, Institute of Contemporary Art, The Delaware Art Museum and The Delaware Center for Contemporary Art, The Michener Art Museum.

The student exhibition features artwork from 15 students who are working toward the completion of a Master of Science degree as well as students who have just graduated. These students come from a diverse field of study including: Graphic Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Photography, and Art History.

This joint exhibition of Drexel University’s students and faculty member Bruce Pollock is a part of a series of exhibitions for the Aramark Partners Gallery. The gallery features art exhibitions of Aramark’s educational partners, including Higher Education and K-12 school districts across the country. The gallery aims to highlight the life, abilities, and accomplishments of the students and introduce the Aramark community to the talent and creativity of its educational partners and students.
